Warm Greetings to all Students, Teachers, Parents and all stakeholders! At the outset I extend a happy and successful new academic year 2026-2027 which begins from 01 April 2026. It is with immense pride and satisfaction that I address you all through this platform. The Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) in the Ernakulam Region continue to thrive and excel, thanks to the bright and sincere students who bring laurels through their academic achievements and co-curricular excellence, as well as the dedicated and hardworking teachers who guide them tirelessly. Our Kendriya Vidyalayas have established themselves as exemplary centres of education, fostering holistic development and nurturing values that shape our students into ideal citizens of the nation. We take pride in ensuring that learning goes beyond textbooks, instilling in our students a deep sense of responsibility, creativity, and resilience. In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the National Curriculum Frameworks (NCF) 2022 and 2023, and the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) mission under NIPUN Bharat, Kendriya Vidyalayas have successfully adopted competency-based learning strategies. These approaches are designed to ensure the acquisition of essential skills and competencies while promoting positive attitudinal changes across various stages of student development. As we embark on another promising academic year, I extend my best wishes to all the students. May this year be filled with enriching experiences, meaningful learning, and noteworthy accomplishments. I also seek the continued cooperation and unwavering support of all stakeholders—parents, teachers, and the community—as we work together to achieve our shared vision of excellence. Wishing you all a successful and fulfilling academic year ahead!

“ Imparting Quality Education Informed by Social and Democratic Values and Connecting Knowledge to the Life Outside School. “ Dear Stakeholders, Kendriya Vidyalaya Chenneerkara is blessed with rich human and physical resources. We are trying to utilise these resources to achieve objectives mentioned in above stated Mission Statement of Vidyalaya. I personally believe that our education system should not only focus on producing skilled workforce. It should also focus on social and democratic values enshrined in our Constitution and other leading documents. Kendriya Vidyalaya Chenneerkara is trying its level best to inculcate these values among students through various curricular and co-curricular activities. Basic purpose of education is to bring positive changes in behavior of students. We are also focusing on these areas. Knowledge and skills provided by schools must be connected to the life available outside school. Otherwise, these knowledge and skills are not going to anything to society and country. Students are being given application oriented projects. So that, they can apply knowledge and skills gained in the Vidyalaya, at their home. I hope that with the help of teachers, students, parents and other stakeholders, we will be able to achieve objectives enshrined in Mission Statement of Vidyalaya.
